he Work generally includes (but is not limited to): Repair and resurfacing of a existing parking lots and road. All contracts for work herein are subject to all Districtrules and regulations. This contract calls for theconstruction of a public work, within the meaning of theIllinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. All bids will remain firm for ninety (90) days after the bidopening. The Board of Park Commissioners of the GlenEllyn Park District reserves the right to reject any or allbids, to waive bid formalities, and to accept the lowestresponsible bid that serves the best interests of theDistrict. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged tosubmit bids for this project. The successful contractbidder(s) are encouraged to utilize minority andwomen-owned businesses as sub-contractors for supplies,equipment, services, and construction.
