Site work for a water / sewer project in Bingen, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of June 20, 2024, project was awarded to Swofford Excavating, LLC, with an awarded amount of $196,993.75. furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct SR 14 Water Main Section 1. This Contract provides for installation of HDPE piping along SR 14 between Maple Street and Elm Street, water services, surface restoration, and other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The Work shall be physically complete within 35 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the City of Bingen and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Financing of the Project has been provided by the City of Bingen, Washington and the Washington State Public Works Board program with state funds. All work performed on this project will be subject to state prevailing wage rates. All Contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business. The City of Bingen is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
