Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Honokaa, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The work shall generally consist of painting at various structures and facilities at the Kalopa State Recreation Area (SRA) according to paint specifications attached, as quantified on the attached proposal and scope of work. Scope of work shall include, but not limited to, painting all park benches, picnic tables, comfort stations, charcoal pits, pavilions, and other incidental work. The estimated cost of construction is $245,000.00 The award of the contract, if it be awarded, will be subject to the availability of funds. Since the estimated value of the cost of construction is less than $250,000, the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall not apply.
