As of July 8, 2024, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. This is an Invitation to Bid for the Shone Farm Portable Restroom Relocation Project. This project requires license B General Contractors License. Vendor is responsible for downloading all applicable documents included in this bid event. The estimated budget for this project is $150,000.00 dollars. This is a CUPCCA bid for pre-qualified CUPCCA contractors. chitect for this project is Linda Mao of Finney Architects at linda@finneyarchitects.com The Bidder's Bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the district, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the vendor's response. Vendor technical questions must be submitted via email to Linda Mao at FA @ linda@finneyarchitects.com on or before May 6, 2024, at 3 pm, if an addendum is required it will be issued no later than May 10, 2024. Bid responses are due by 1PM on May 16, 2024. Once the deadline has passed the electronic bid system will not allow late submissions. hese are the only forms of notification authorized by the college district. Sonoma County Junior College shall not be responsible for receipt of notification and information received from any other source other than those listed. It shall be the vendor's responsibility to verify the validity of all bid information received by sources other than those listed. Time of completion for this project is Sixty (60) working days from NTP and Liquidated damages are $100 per day. The successful bidder shall comply with the provisions of the Labor Code pertaining to payment of the generally prevailing rate of wages and apprenticeships or other training programs. The Department of Industrial Relations has made available the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to execute the contract, including employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, apprenticeship and similar purposes. 5. The schedule of per diem wages is based upon a working day of eight hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at least time and one half. 6. The substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments in accordance with Public Contract Code 22300 is permitted. 7. Pursuant to Public Contract Code 4104, each bid shall include the name and location of the place of business of each subcontractor who shall perform work or service or fabricate or install work for the contactor in excess of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) of the bid price. The bid shall describe the type of the work to be performed by each listed subcontractor. 8. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except as provided by Public Contract Code 5100 et seq. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Question Deadline 05/06/2024 at 3:00 PM PT 9. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. In accordance with SB 854, all bidders, contractors and subcontractors working at the site shall be duly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations at time of bid opening and at all relevant times. Proof of registration must be available upon request prior to the commencement of any work. 10. Each bidder shall possess at the time the bid is awarded the appropriate classification under the California State Contractor's licensing Board. 11. In the event the Governing Board deems that the Project is substantially complex a retention amount will be required in an amount as allowed by California law.
