SJSU is requesting proposals from experienced district energy teams (Respondent) with expertise and a successful track record developing decarbonized, resilient District Energy Master Plans inclusive of South Campus. This Master Plan will inform and position the campus district energy system to support the Campus Master Plan and campus owned parcels three to four blocks to the West while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, local, California State University (CSU), and other authority having jurisdiction requirements. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to identify qualified Respondents and award a consultant agreement to create a District Energy Master Plan as described herein. Qualified Respondents meeting the requirements of this RFP and demonstrating the ability to plan low-carbon, resilient district energy systems are encouraged to submit responses. Respondents under this RFP may include one entity or a team of several entities submitting a joint response
