The Douglasville-Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority (hereafter referred to as the Authority) is soliciting competitive sealed bids for one calendar year from June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025 for Fire Hydrants and Gate Valves used for water maintenance and construction. The delivery price shall be firm for the calendar year No bid may be withdrawn during the 60-day period following the opening, except as provided by law. It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to assure all bids are delivered to the Authority Administrative Offices on or before the above stated time and date. The Authority will in no way be responsible for delays in mail delivery or delays caused by any other occurrence. Any bids received after the above time and date will not be accepted under any circumstances. The Authority reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid that is non-responsive or submitted by a nonresponsible bidder. The Authority further reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities in the Invitation for Bids and bids submitted.
