Engineers Estimate: $1,850,000.00 GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF THE WORK - Ben Davis 345kV/138kV SUBSTATION Garland Power & Light (GP&L), here-in defined as the Owner, is initiating a project to: - Install 1250' of cable trench & conduit to all equipment - Install one (1) 250' run of 2" conduit outside the station for a security light - Install junction boxes on sixteen (16) 138kV Circuit Breakers - Raise twenty (20) existing junction boxes located on PTs, CCVTs & CTs throughout the yard - Installation of thirty-three (33) dual Guard Lights conduit - Pull all exterior control cable & power cable - Reconnect any cut grounding grid runs and stingers as necessary after cable trench install - Demo one (1) pier foundation to 3' below grade This is not an exhaustive list of work to be performed under these specifications. All work as indicated and as noted within the contract drawings listed in Section 1B for this project shall be included.See section 1A.2.1 of this document for the division of responsibilities of the work to be performed at this site. The Owner has decided to self-perform a large portion of the scope of the work; therefore, the Contractor should carefully consider the division of responsibilities as indicated herein.
