LOCATION Address: TBD Garland, TX 75042 Coordinates: 32.978266, -96.648538 DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The Holford Road 138 kV Switching Station project is located in Garland, Texas. The 138 kV switching station will be a newly developed, complete greenfield project. This materials package includes the cable trench by Trenwa provided with heavy drive rated fiberlite lids. The fiberlite lids will be provided except for the two end positions where a steel lid will be provided to accommodate boring for conduit risers into the control enclosure. The successful bidder will be provided with a GP&L contact person to coordinate deliveries. Preference is to consolidate into as few shipments as possible. Cable trench description: Dimensions: 30" wide, 16" deep, 10' standard section length. Specifications: HS20 rated road-crossing type, (32000# per axle), fiberlite lids (2 lids per section). Cable clips to be supplied (4 cable clips per trench section), end pieces, tee fittings and cable risers. Straight section shall contain (2) 12" conduit entrances. Each section by control building shall contain (1) metal lid, that fits the same base. The intent is to bore the metal lids for conduit risers. Length: 426ft (See drawing HR-1011-01).
