The project is briefly described as follows: General Project Description Part A -- Mass Grading and Detention Pond including (2) Detention Ponds; approx. 267 LF RCPHE pipe ranging from 21"x14" to 34"x22"; Stone Rip-Rap, Turf Reinforcement Mat, Soil Retention Blanket, Erosion Control Devices, Seeding and Erosion Control. Part B -- Sanitary Sewers, including approx. 2,820 LF 8" Sanitary Sewer Pipe; 14 EA Pre-Cast Manholes (4' and 5' dia.); 52 EA services tees and risers; 53 LF 15" Boring & PVC/HDPE Encasement and Flushed and Vibrated Sand Backfill. Part C -- Storm Sewers, including approx. 1,319 LF RCP and PVC pipe ranging from 15" to 30"x19"; RCP End Sections; 11 EA Type 1A Curb Inlets, 3 EA Pre-cast MH's; Flushed and Vibrated Sand Backfill and Stone Rip-Rap. Part D Water Lines, including approx. 3,217 LF 8" Water Line; (60 LF) 15" Boring & PVC/HDPE Encasement; (52) Long & Short Services; (13) 8" Valves; (6) Fire Hydrant Assemblies; Flushed and Vibrated Sand Backfill. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or bid bond is acceptable to the City in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. Checks are to be made payable to the City of Mulvane and drawn on a solvent Kansas Bank or Trust Company. These checks or bonds are to be retained by the Ctity Clerk until the contract for the project shall have been awarded.
