Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mulvane, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Remove an existing storm sewer curb inlet and replace with a Type 1/1A Double Throated Curb Inlet; remove approx. 128 SY of existing AC Pavement, approx. 534 SF of existing Concrete Sidewalk and approx. 18 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter and replace with approx. 56 SY 6" AC Pavement, 477 SF 5" Concrete Sidewalk, 609 SF 5" Concrete Flume and 8 LF of Concrete Curb & Gutter, including Crushed Rock Subgrade; remove and replace approx. 67 LF of existing 12" Storm Sewer and 7 LF of existing 8" Storm Sewer and associated site work. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or bid bond is acceptable to the City in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. Checks are to be made payable to the City of Mulvane and drawn on a solvent Kansas Bank or Trust Company. These checks or bonds are to be retained by the City Clerk until the contract for the project shall have been awarded.
