1. The Undersigned has examined and is familiar with the location of the
proposed work, the Contract Documents, and the local conditions at the place
where the work is to be performed.
2. The Undersigned understands that Mt. Zion Community School District #3
reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to waive any formality or
technicality in any Proposal in the interest of Mt. Zion Community School
District #3.
3. The Bid is contingent upon approval by the Mt. Zion Board of Education.
4. An on-site visit is required; Contact Randy Thacker, principal of the
Intermediate School between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to make
arrangements. Bidders are responsible for determining exact measurements
and ensuring their proposed Manufacturer/Pattern/Color is acceptable to the
school district.
5. It is expected that carpet installation will take place during the month of June
and/or July.
6. No building permit is required for this project.
7. All bid prices shall be complete and include removal of existing carpeting and
base and all materials necessary for new installation, i.e., specified style and
color of new carpet, premium adhesive, seam sealer, new vinyl/rubber base,
transition (binding) to hallways, and dumpster fee.
8. The secondary backing will be UltraLock Unitary.
9. For all carpet projects a seam diagram will be provided with the bid by the
flooring company.
