This project includes the manual brushing of approximately 284.1 hectares, across 10 cutblocks, within the Boundary Field Team Timber Supply Area. The successful contractor should anticipate all types of weather during the seasonal work window. It is expected that the contractor completes work within the guidelines of the work progress plan regardless of weather conditions while adhering to the Wildfire Act and Regulations. The contractor can expect steep uneven road surfaces and a 4X4 truck is recommended and necessary to access the treatment units. Item 4 - Day Rate activity has been added to the Schedule B, which may be used if additional work is found while treating current areas, or by other silviculture contractors, which require immediate action as directed by the contract coordinator.
