The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of water mains on Gordon Avenue, Kildonan Drive and Kingsford Avenue all within the City of Winnipeg. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1060m of 150-200mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price A Performance Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the Amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price. A Labour and Material Payment Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an Amount Equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
