Category 1: Civil General Contractor & Category 2: Structural Sub-Contractor. 1) Replacement of the existing Trafalgar Road culvert crossing East Morrison Creek with a new open bottom culvert (approximately 7.3m x 2.4m). 2) Construction of cast-in-place head walls at inlet and outlet of the new culvert. 3) Construction of temporary protection system to facilitate construction of the East Morrison Creek culvert crossing while maintaining required traffic lanes during construction. 4) Vegetated retaining wall installation. 5) Channel realignment and restoration works within East Morrison Creek 6) Widening of existing Trafalgar Rd roadway to accommodate six lanes of traffic 7) Replacement of storm sewers, including catch basins along Trafalgar Road 8) Replacement of sanitary sewers crossing over the proposed East Morrison Creek culvert. 9) Construction of cycling track, sidewalks, and multi-use paths and associated appurtenances (ex. tactile plates) 10) Transit bays and platforms, including electrical connections, along Trafalgar Road 11) Temporary and permanent illumination along Trafalgar Road; 12) Temporary and permanent traffic signals including associated appurtenances, at Dundas St E and Hays Boulevard intersections with Trafalgar Road; 13) Relocation of fire hydrants and valves. 14) Restoration, landscaping, seeding, and sodding. 15) Bell underground utility relocation work.
