Napa County Department of Public Works requests proposals from qualified professional firms to provide the following services: Project Approval and Environmental Document services; as needed Right-of-Way Acquisition services; Plans, Specifications, and Estimates services; and Design services during Construction. The Silverado Trail Intersection Improvements project includes, but is not limited to, road widening, signage, striping, traffic control, surveying, possible right-of-way acquisition, and other related services as required to construct the state funded project at three (3) critical intersections on Silverado Trail. The intersection safety improvements will be made on Silverado Trail at Zinfandel Lane, Oak Knoll Avenue, and at the Strawberry Patch (located approximately 0.4+- miles north of Trancas Street). Napa County was awarded the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 11 grant to make intersection safety improvements which include installing flashing beacons, right-turn lanes, and left turn lanes so that the intersections involved in this project comply with current safety standards and to improve overall visibility and safety of drivers.
