This project is a partial renovation of the old ATC Building to expand the Phoenix Academy alternative education program. Base bid will include selective demolition and the construction of new classroom and office space within existing vocational lab spaces. A critical component of this will include the renovation and expansion of restrooms for this building, which will need to be completed during the summer of 2024. The HVAC system will be renovated as part of this project along with necessary electrical and plumbing upgrades, including new restroom fixtures and lighting in the new spaces. Question Deadline 05/17/2024 at 12:00 PM ET All requests must be submitted to the Architect in writing. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening. Bids will be received from Contractors for a Total Lump Sum Amount. All phases of the work shall be bid to and through the Contractor submitting the proposal. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of each proposal submitted must accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Form of Proposal. The successful bidder must supply a 100% Performance and Payment Bond as outlined in the Project Manual. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgement made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan.
