Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed and that the Final Completion date for this contract is October 31, 2024, unless otherwise negotiated. upon the Respondent to check the website for additional information and/or addendums. Written questions regarding the substance or scope of services must be submitted via e-mail to the City of Winooski contact listed, prior to the deadline. Proposers are encouraged to make on-site visits to the areas for which services are required to gain an understanding of the scope of the areas to be served. The Proposer must be familiar with the area and any natural features which will affect the work. Ignorance on the part of the Proposer will in no way relieve it from responsibility. Questions may be sent to Joe Shaw, Deputy Director of Public Works: jshaw@winooskivt.gov Services will include mowing of lawns and greenspaces and other associated tasks (including but not limited to clearing leaves, sticks, fallen branches, trash and debris) at several City properties in accordance with the specifications outlined in Section 9 herein. The work shall be completed weekly (unless otherwise noted herein) to maintain grass lengths through the summer and autumn seasons. City property locations are indicated in plan in Attachment B. Contractor shall provide services for the following City properties: The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The City further reserves the right to award the contract to that Proposer whose proposal best complies with the bid requirements. Proposers may not withdraw their proposal for a period of ninety (90) days from the date set for the opening thereof.
