Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East St Paul, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall generally consist of: (a) Tartan Way - Concrete Reconstruction Removal of existing asphalt and concrete pavement Excavation for pavement structure Installation of subdrains Subgrade compaction Supply and placement of geotextile fabric Supply and placement of sub-base Supply and placement of base course Construction of concrete pavement Landscaping, including areas disturbed during previously completed culvert lining project (b) Mowat Road - Asphalt Reconstruction Removal of existing asphalt pavement Excavation for pavement structure Subgrade compaction Supply and placement of sub-base Supply and placement of base course Construction of asphalt pavement and at approach and intersection tie-ins Landscaping Placement of base course at approaches (c) Gateway Road - Asphalt Surfacing Strip topsoil and organics from grade slopes and windrow for later replacement on the finished grade slopes Excavation for pavement structure common excavation material to be placed on grade slopes as shown in the drawings Excess material to be loaded, hauled, and stockpiled at the RM of East St. Paul's transfer station (4140 Birds Hill Road) Extend culverts Subgrade compaction Supply and placement of geotextile and geogrid Supply and placement of sub-base Supply and placement of base course Construction of asphalt pavement Construction of asphalt pavement tie-ins at Mulder Road, Pritchard Farm Road, and approaches Placement of base course on shoulders and at approaches Replace stripped topsoil on slopes and seed (hydro mulch) (d) Birds Hill Road Sidewalk - Sidewalk Renewal & Concrete Overlay Select sidewalk panel renewal (Elliot to Hoddinott) as shown on the drawings and as directed by the Engineer Supply and placement of base course Scarify existing concrete sidewalk (Elliot to Hillview) in preparation of concrete overlay Construct concrete overlay Landscaping Question Acceptance Deadline: 2024/05/03 12:00:00 PM CDT Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com .
