Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Rocky River, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,949-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the demolition of a 10,016-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The City of Rocky River, Ohio hereby requests Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from qualified firms interested in providing all required professional architectural design services to the City for the building of a new fully functional Fire Station. As required by O.R.C. 153.65, et seq., responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in the order of their qualifications. The City of Rocky River reserves the right to accept or reject any SOQ, waive any informalities or irregularities in any SOQ received and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the qualification of any respondent. Equal Opportunity Employer. The budget inclusive of all indirect and direct costs, and FF&E shall not exceed $12 million. The new two-story Rocky River fire station will have a footprint of approximately 15,949 square feet. Project involves the demolition of the existing single-story, approximately 10,016-square-foot, four-bay fire station. As of January 26, 2026, construction started October 2025 and will last 14-16 months.
