THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of grinding of tree stumps within multiple sites totaling 59.5 acres of previously removed pine and mixed hardwood clear-cut timber. Heavy timber slash is present and stump grinding is to occur prior to the removal of the slash. Removal of slash is not included in this scope of work. All stumps 6 inch DBH and greater are to be ground. Grinding is to be at 1 inch below ground level. Stump grinding should begin in June 2024 and be completed no later than September 30th, 2024. Care is to be taken not to damage remaining marked trees. EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH either (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Labor and Materials Bond. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bid Valid 30 Days. Liquidated Damages Yes Start/Delivery Date June 2024.
