Administration, Building Department, Economic Development, Community Development The City of Wood Dale is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide annual contractual fire sprinkler system testing services at municipal facilities. The objective of these specifications is to define the conditions under which contractual services are to be provided for periodic testing of various fire detection devices as outlined in the most current National Fire Protection Association Standards NFPA 25, the Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance or Water-Base Fire Protection Systems - 2011 Edition, and the following specifications, NFPA 2001: Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems, 2012 Edition for testing of FM200 systems and NFPA 25 for 5-year internal system inspections. The bidder shall become fully acquainted with the nature of the work, the sites at which work is to be accomplished, and the conditions affecting the cost and performance of the work. The proposal shall include all costs associated with furnishing labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform complete inspections, testing and reporting on all fire suppression systems and fire pumps listed in these specifications for each building.
