equipment, labor, and materials necessary to complete the Superstructure Portion only of the BRIDGE PROJECT known as: (DRY RUN ROAD) - BRIDGE REPLACEMENT (BIDDING SUPERSTRUCTURE ONLY) Project Description: This project consists of the replacement of the existing single span steel beam bridge with timber decking and asphalt concrete wearing course, supported on reinforced concrete substructure with a single span galvanized steel beam with corrugated metal decking bridge, supported on the Engineer prepared existing reinforced concrete substructure. The proposed structure will be furnished and installed ASTM A572 galvanized or approved equivalent, including but not limited to the beams, diaphragms, guardrail posts and supports, attachment angles, and incidentals in conformance to the Engineer provided plans. The DBE Goal for this bridge project = 0% Proposals must contain the name of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of bid; or in lieu of the bid guaranty and contract bond the bidder may submit a bid guaranty as provided by Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code in the form of a certified check or cashier's check. The amount of the certified check or cashier's check shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The certified check or cashier's check submitted with a bid will be held as a guarantee on an accepted bid proposal. Bidders are required to be PRE-QUALIFIED WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION to submit a bid for this project. The contract will be awarded within 7 days of the bid opening date.
