Dallas Township & Dallas Area Municipal Authority invite bids for Dorchester Drive 30" Storm Sewer Pipe Replacement & New Sanitary Sewer Manhole. The project consists of replacing 180 feet of 30" storm sewer pipe and the installation of a new sanitary sewer manhole under two contracts. A Bid Bond made payable to the Owner(s), in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid shall accompany each bid. Bonding companies for Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds must be listed in the U. S. Treasury Circular # 570. If the bid is accepted, the successful bidder(s) shall execute the Contract and shall furnish and pay for Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price within 15 business days after receipt of the Notice of Award from the Architect along with the required Certificates of Insurance. This bid is for a public works contract and the bidder is subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall include the "Public Works Employment Verification Form" which is included in the bid documents. This project shall comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, including labor standards, prevailing wage determination decision, and anti-kickback regulations which are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contract. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
