The City of Celina (City) is seeking to establish a fixed price agreement for on call Electrical repairs or updates to existing facilities. Question Deadline 05/09/2024 at 12:00 PM CT A purchase order for electrical repairs will be issued annually. Work exceeding $3000 will receive a separate purchase order. On any repair projects with an anticipated cost of $3,000.00 or more, the vendor must contact the Facility Services Supervisor to obtain approval prior to beginning work. The City reserves the right to prepare a scope of work and requires a proposal with a complete breakdown of material and labor costs. The City has the right, as its option, to supply all or part of the materials or equipment on any project. All work must meet, as a minimum, all City of Celina and State of Texas building codes. All work must meet building codes and be permitted and inspected as required by the City of Celina Building Inspections Department. All questions shall be posted to the City's electronic bidding service, by the deadline stated. All questions and answers will be posted online. Proposers are responsible for insuring all answers to questions are reviewed prior to the submittal date. Answers provided to posted questions address minor irregularities and are for clarification purposes only and do not revise or modify the specifications. Answers to questions that result in revisions to the specification will be address by Addendum. No oral statement of any person shall modify or otherwise change, or affect the specification. Under General Electrical Services, the City of Celina has facilities located at various locations throughout the City. This space consists of office space, shop/warehouse, parks, and water and wastewater facilities, and ROW lighting. This will increase during the term of the contract as new buildings are constructed. It is understood that the City of Celina, reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. Receipt of any proposal shall under no circumstances obligate the City to accept the lowest proposal. The award of the contract shall be made to the responsible proposer whose proposal is determined to be the lowest and best evaluated offer resulting from negotiation, taking into consideration the relative importance of price and other evaluation factors set forth in the request for proposal.
