2024 Drainage Improvement Project - Engleside Avenue, 3rd Street and 5th Street - The work under this contract includes but is not limited to the following: Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for demolition and disposal of existing inlets, pipe, asphalt, etc. Proposed construction shall include seven (7) Type "A" inlets, One (1) Type "E" inlets installation of 308 LF of new 8-inch HDPE N-12 pipe, 240 SY of initial pavement restoration, 1,450 SY of final pavement restoration and all site restoration required. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same . Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
