Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work on this project occurs in three sections. The first section of work begins at the intersection of Church Street and Dufferin Street and proceeds northeast on Church Street for approximately 1,330 metres. The second section of work begins at the intersection of Albion Street and Church Street and proceeds south on Albion Street for approximately 155 metres. The third section of work begins at the intersection of Weeks Drive and Elder Street and proceeds east on Weeks Drive for approximately 200 metres. The work includes: Church Street: Cold planing (50 mm) for approximately 455 metres, placing asphalt seal B (50 mm) for approximately 1,330 metres; Albion Street: Placing asphalt seal B (50 mm) for approximately 155 metres; Weeks Drive: Placing asphalt seal B (50 mm) for approximately 200 metres; and all other work necessary to complete the Contract. The Contractor agrees to complete the work on, or before September 27, 2024 a certified cheque equal to or greater than the amount stipulated a bid bond equal to or greater than the amount stipulated in Schedule A - Schedule of Special Provisions. The bond shall be from a surety company authorized to carry on business in Canada guaranteeing to supply a performance bond equal to 50% of the Contract value, excluding HST and a labour and material bond equal to 25% of the Contract value, excluding HST.
