The City of Miramar is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for the excavation of clay from two tennis courts, remove all weeds, and haul it away to a city-owned parcel. SITE OF WORK Lakeshore Park (8501 South Sherman Circle, Miramar, FL 33025) Site work location SCOPE OF SERVICES Removal of 926 cubic yards of existing clay and sand from two tennis courts at Lakeshore Park, cleaning out weeds, and hauling and dumping materials at County Lakes West. The Contractor shall supply all required expertise, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and services required to provide the necessary services. The Contractor shall provide a work schedule showing starting and completion of the project. Removal: 1. Excavate two standalone clay tennis courts located at the southwestern corner of the park of approximately 926 cubic yards of clay and sand to expose concrete slabs underneath. 2. Haul away clay and sand removed from courts to a City parcel known as County Lakes West. This includes removing any organic and non-organic debris remaining at the excavation area. 3. Concrete border and concrete slabs underneath the clay and sand shall remain as is.
