Furnish and place approximately 233 tons of 19.0 mm Asphalt Binder Crse; Perform approximately 21 CY of roadway mill/excavation; Furnish and install approximately 45 LF of PE Pipe; Furnish and install 1 Ea standard inlet; Perform approximately 53 tons of 19.0 mm shoulder repair. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Binder Course, PG 64S-22, < 0.3 million ESALS, 19.0 MM Mix, SRLANY. Furnish and place Asphalt Binder Course at the listed above compacted depth across the entire crosssection of the roadway. Completed pavement shall provide a cross-slope of 2.0% to maintain positive drainage throughout construction and positive drainage into all existing cross pipes and inlets. • Placement of asphalt paving includes the paving of roadway intersection radiuses. • Contractor shall coordinate all paving work on Strawbridge Road with seal coat contractor to ensure work is completed prior to seal coat operations. This work is the removal and replacement of existing pipe and the new installation of PE Polyethylene Pipe. Backfill with 2A Subbase and compact according to PennDOT 408 Spec and finish the trench with paving (Place 4” Depth of Superpave asphalt 19.0 mm, 0.0 to 0.3 million ESAL’s. The contractor will provide all necessary excavation, bituminous material, subbase, as needed to complete this work. The contractor will complete all work, providing necessary labor, equipment and material needed to complete work which is to be verified by Penn Township representative. Contractor will be responsible for any engineering/surveying required to provide the proper elevations and alignments are established for the pipe installation so that proper water flow is maintained. All work must be completed in accordance with current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and its supplements.
