Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

As of June 6, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project is located in Leetsdale Borough, Allegheny County, PA and consists of removing the Washington Street hump, stairs, bollards, anci guard rails, installing a roadway subbase and new asphalt along with lowering a sanitary sewer manhole. All existing utilities will be relocated out of the line of disturbance prior to construction. A Bid Security comprised of a certified check or bid bond drawn to the order of the Leetsdale Borough executed by the bidder and a surety company satisfactory to the Township, in an amount equal to not less than ten percent of the total amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, BID SUBMISSION. Leetsdale Borough hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract work awarded will be to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder for each contract or combination of bids. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the Bid Opening.
