RFP Engineering - Fort Bayard Water Infrastructure Design Purpose of this Request for Proposal The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the purchase of Design Professional Services based on the scope of work described below. All potential Offerors are to read, understand and accept the requirements of this RFP. Background Information Old Fort Bayard is currently supplied by at least twelve (12) active natural springs located 4-5 miles north of Old Fort Bayard in the Pinos Altos Mountains. The natural springs were reported to have been developed prior to 1950 and feature large concrete spring boxes with penetrations for the pipes that convey spring water to Old Fort Bayard. This springs water supplies water to Old Fort Bayard buildings, including the maintenance building and the nearby VA cemetery. The local Forest Service Facility is also supplied by water from the natural springs; however, this water is diverted prior to reaching Old Fort Bayard. Question Deadline 05/21/2024 at 5:00 PM MT Deadline to Submit Written Questions Potential Offerors may submit written questions to the Procurement Manager as to the intent or clarity of this RFP until the date/time as indicated in the sequence of events. All written questions must be addressed to the Procurement Manager. Questions shall be clearly labeled and shall cite the Section(s) in the RFP or other document which form the basis of the question. Written responses to written questions will be distributed as indicated in the sequence of events to all potential Offerors whose organization name appears on the mandatory preproposal sign in sheet. In any event, copies will be posted to online.
