The City of High Point Public Service Material Recycle Facility Department is here by soliciting proposals from North Carolina licensed mechanical and recycling equipment contractors (firms) to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for mechanical and recycling equipment maintenance at the City of High Point's Material Recovery Facility. The intent of this procurement is to establish on-call mechanical and recycling equipment Contractors for the Public Services-Material Recycle Facility Department. The scope of Contractor's services, as currently envisioned for this project would include but not be limited to mechanical, recycling equipment maintenance/repair, equipment installation, preventive maintenance work, and equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience working on a variety of mechanical systems and recycling machines including electrical distribution, motor starters, instrumentation, controls, process valves, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, tanks, compressors, process piping, and welding is required. Moreover, the City reserves the right to make no selection if proposals are deemed to be outside the fiscal constraint or not in the best interest of the City.
