Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Weston, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Project A - Weston Avenue Reconstruction (Alderson Street to Birch Street) - Approximately 2,775 LF including a compact roundabout. Project B - Alderson Street Reconditioning (Weston Avenue to Summit Avenue) - Approximately 570 LF including ditching on south side of roadway. Project C - Summit Avenue (Wall Street to Alderson Street) - Approximately 1,275 LF. Project D - Village of Weston Utilities (Summit Avenue Watermain Replacement, Alderson Street Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Replacement, Weston Avenue Watermain). Work includes underdrain, concrete storm sewer inlets & manholes, HDPE storm sewer pipe & culverts, unclassified excavation, select crushed, base aggregate dense, HMA pavement, concrete driveway & sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement marking, signing, and restoration. Utility work includes ductile iron watermain, hydrants, PVC sanitary sewer and concrete sanitary manholes. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 22, 2024 The anticipated substantial completion date is November 1, 2024 and final completion date is November 22, 2024. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 146 North Central Avenue, Suite 201, Marshfield, WI 54449. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. Project C - Summit Avenue is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) - MSILT. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
