Wichita Falls Independent School District's ("WFISD" or "District") Board of Trustees invites qualified vendors to offer a proposal for the service of regularly scheduled, consistent, quality Grounds Maintenance as described herein and solicited in compliance with State and Local law. Grounds Maintenance includes the general lawn care including mowing, edging, tree and shrub trimming, weekly trash control, fertilizing, weed control, winter ice treatment (optional) and other related grounds maintenance activities as outlined in the specifications. All WFISD properties will be segmented with service specifications, preferred scheduling, as well as any exclusions. All questions and/or requests for clarification, or general questions, must be made prior to the Question Deadline through this site's Question function. Any interpretations or clarifications in response to this request for proposal will be made by addenda. Addenda will be issued on this online solicitation platform to all Vendor participants. All questions will be answered in the RFP, on this platform. Verbal information and/or responses are not binding. Contract for Services will be issued to the Awarded Vendor for three (3) years with two (2) optional renewal years, beginning July 1, 2023. Renewals may include a Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase of up to 3%. Any additional rate increase must be requested in writing no less than 90 days prior to the renewal date and mutually agreed to in writing. WFISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Award may be made to one or multiple vendors at the full discretion and best interest of District. Any proposal received later than the specified date and time listed, whether delivered in person by Vendor representation or by delivery service, shall be disqualified. Emailed and faxed submissions will be disqualified upon receipt. Proposals will not be publicly opened. If assistance is required, Vendor must email purchasing@wfisd.net.
