Contact David Sturm, PE, PLS, Business Unit Leader, 712.243.6505 davesturm@snyder-associates.com Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered The Project is located on the east side of 395 th Street / West Street on the north side of Henderson and includes the following Work: Installation of a new water supply well, 500 LF 4" PVC water main, an auxiliary generator, electrical and controlsfor two wells, and other miscellaneous and associated work. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $705,350.00. The Project has an expected duration of 466 (September 26, 2025) daysfor Substantial Completion. Work on the Projectshall commence on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security as required by Iowa Code section26.8, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, acceptable to the Owner, forthe faithful performance ofthe contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The bid security shall be made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and shall be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state- chartered or federally chartered credit union, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 ofthe General Conditions.
