Cambridge Housing Authority, in its capacity as managing member, acting on behalf of Washington Elms LLC, the Owner and Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Washington Elms Site Improvements Project, at 100 Harvard St. in Cambridge, MA, in accordance with the documents prepared by Hill-LiRo, Corp., 529 Main St., Suite 3303, Boston, MA 02129. The project consists of Site Improvements including landscape changes and repair of an existing brick retaining wall. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents prepared by Hill-LiRo, Corp. and generally consists of the following: 1. Protection, maintenance, and care of all existing trees indicated to remain. 2. Demolition of existing structures and paved areas, site improvements, including removal or abatement of hazardous materials. 3. Repairs to existing brick retaining wall. 4. Site preparation and ground improvement to support new structures and landscaping. 5. Improvements to site, including new drives, walkways, site improvements and landscaping. 6. Other Work as indicated in the Contract Documents. TIME A. In accordance with the Agreement, the Contractor shall bring the work to Substantial Completion within 90 calendar days (3 months), and to Final Completion within 120 calendar days (4 months).
