Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and road / highway.

The project will widen Kula Highway in the vicinity of Omaopio Road to provide north & southbound left turn lanes at the intersection. The project will also reconstruct the existing roadway surface asphalt concrete (AC) pavement; remove existing & install new guardrail systems, and construct a concrete retaining wall, lined ditch & concrete gutters, slope embankment widening, highway lighting & a traffic signal control system, traffic signs & pavement markings, and extend an existing highway culvert crossing & inlet modification. The scope ofwork consists ofthe roadway widening ofthe existing Kula Highway in the vicinity ofthe intersection at Omaopio Road. The project includes the reconstruction of roadway asphalt concrete (AC) pavement; removal of existing pavement and guardrails; constructing a concrete retaining wall with soil nail, concrete lined ditch, and gutters; slope embankment widening; installing new guardrails and end treatments, highway lighting; a traffic signal control system, traffic signs and pavement markings, extending am existing highway culvert crossing and inlet modification; cold planing; erosion control; and traffic control.
