This Request for Proposals (RFP), issued by the City of San Bruno's Community Services Department, aims to identify a qualified janitorial service provider who can deliver high-quality janitorial services to the department's Recreation and Aquatic Center. The City of San Bruno's Community Services Department (CITY) will accept proposals from all potential businesses. The CITY values diversity and encourages proposals from businesses of all backgrounds and sizes. Small and local businesses are particularly encouraged to participate. The Scope of Work provided in the RFP Appendix will define both the general and specialized service expectations for the RAC. Proposals should encompass a comprehensive range of tasks, including but not limited to: - Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas - Floor cleaning to include care of various floor types in the RAC - Dusting and wiping surfaces - Emptying trash and recycling bins - Maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies This (RFP) is positioned to offer an exciting opportunity for businesses to partner with the CITY, contributing to the cleanliness and maintenance of these vital community facilities while showcasing their expertise in janitorial services and positively impacting the well-being of the community. Businesses are encouraged to propose innovative and sustainable cleaning practices that minimize environmental impact and promote the well-being of facility users. The contract will be for a period of one (1) year with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
