As of May 29, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. SCOPE OF WORK. Generally, the work under this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools & supplies, transportation, safety equipment and other items necessary for asphalt and subgrade removal, new base course and asphalt, cleaning and sealing of cracks, seal coat and pavement markings in the parking lot for the Smith Sports Complex at 700 Talon Lane; project map attached. City staff will walk the project with the Contractor prior to work to determine and mark limits of what shall be repaired by Contractor. Payment will be based on actual quantities as agreed and installed. All work shall be completed in accordance with City of Durango Standard Specifications for Construction of Streets and Roads, including weather and temperature requirements, unless otherwise stated in these bid documents. The contractor is responsible for providing Quality Control testing for the project. Mobilization, Traffic Control and Stormwater Management are incidental to the work. See General Conditions for requirements, including review durations. All work shall be completed under the supervision and inspection of the City Project Manager or assigned agent. Any deviation from the project contract documents shall be approved, in writing, in advance. Any deviation from the project contract documents without prior authorization shall result in the immediate suspension of work, and possible termination of contract. Parking Lot Asphalt Repair and Seal Smith Sports Complex The City of Durango invites interested, qualified persons or firms, capable of providing the required services to submit bids for improvements that generally consist of asphalt and subgrade removal, new base course and asphalt, cleaning and sealing of cracks, seal coat and pavement markings in a parking lot. The City of Durango reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and minor irregularities in bids, and to accept the bid deemed, in the opinion of the City, to be in the best interest of the City of Durango.
