Renovation of a military facility in Scotia, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Building 1 has a low slope, ethylene polypropylene diene monomer EPDM) membrane roof. Section G of the roof membrane is no longer attached to the underlying board. The total surface area of Section G is approximately 5,400 square feet. Core cutout is described in the table below. The roof is not currently leaking. The roof can be accessed through a staircase shown in the figure below. OPTION: Building 26 has a flat EPDM roof. The roof is 26 years old, presents pinholes, and started to detach from the insulation. The total surface area of Section B is approximately 4,000 square feet. The core cutouts are described in the table below. The roof is leaking. The roof can be accessed through a ladder shown in the figure below or a portable ladder or lift. The roofs are to be repaired per the most current version of Unified Facility Code (UFC) 3-110- 03 Roofing military standards. The UFC can be downloaded from https://www.wbdg.org. The roof area measurements are approximate and shall be field verified by the contractor during the site visit, and prior to offering a price estimate. Contractor may propose alternative solutions for consideration to the below scope prior to the contract award. If there is a contradiction between the UFC and this Scope of Work (SOW), Contractor shall bring it to the attention of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), who will provide guidance. Do NOT contact other personnel directly. Doing so will only delay your answer. All questions must come through the Contracting Office. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. The Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to aw ard as this action has been identified on the National Guard priority list. No contract aw ard w ill be made until appropriated funds are made available. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
