Renovation of a municipal facility in Scotia, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of May 29, 2024, all bids have been rejected by owner due to bids being over budget. the Village of Scotia intends to renovate their Municipal facility at 4 N. Ten Broeck Street, Scotia, NY 12302 and is seeking separate sealed bids for General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond issued by an acceptable surety or bank or certified check payable to the Village of Scotia is required The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a labor/material payment bond issued by acceptable sureties and to enter into a written contract with the Village of Scotia. A copy of the form of contract is included with the bid documents. Bids must be in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and other bid documents for the project and must remain valid for sixty (60) days. Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the following location by appointment only: H2M architects + engineers, 433 River Street, Suite 8002, Troy, NY 12180 Hueber-Breuer Construction Co., Inc., 148 Berwyn Ave. Syracuse, NY 13210 The Village of Scotia strongly encourages Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBEs) and Section 3 firms to submit bids for this project.
