SOQ is estimated at $11.5-12.5M USD. GHID (Owner) invites interested contractors to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for the construction of the Anderson Groundwater Treatment Plant. The Anderson Water Treatment Plant (WTP) project includes the construction of a CMU 66 foot x 66 foot building with architectural features, HVAC, plumbing, drains, electrical and controls. The treatment processes include two parallel horizontal pressure filters with GreensandPlus media and onsite sodium hypochlorite generation. The WTP is sized for up to 6,000 gpm. The District has already engaged in a procurement process for the horizontal pressure filters, media and other ancillary equipment and this will be awarded by the end of May. The site work includes landscaping, grading, drainage, fencing, security and lighting for the entire Well 16/Anderson WTP Site. The yard piping includes approximately 420 feet of 8-inch to 24-inch stormdrain, 160 feet of 6-inch sewerline, and 225 feet of 24-inch raw and finished waterline. Additionally, the project includes relocating the existing generator. The project also includes two (2) 10 foot diameter by approximately 70 foot long cylindrical FRP underground water storage tanks, offset 10 feet from the north side of the building, that will slowly meter backwash wastewater into the sewer system. An 8,500 cubic foot storm drain/pump-to-waste basin is also included in the project. All sewer and water services will need to remain in-service for the duration of the project. The District has been working with the Red Oaks Village HOA, the owners of the property to the south of the Site. The neighboring sites will need to be protected as further noted in the plans and impacts minimized to the extent practicable. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all SOQs, with or without cause, or to accept the SOQs which, in its sole judgment, best serve the interest of the District. All decisions related to this solicitation will be final.
