Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Apex, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Work performed shall be in accordance with New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Standard Specifications with current Addenda, NYSDOT Standard Sheets, City Standard Details, and the City's Pedestrian Safety Toolbox. The Consultant shall assemble and provide two (2) copies and one (1) digital copy of the final design and specifications necessary for the construction of the pedestrian crossing and any additional site work required. The pedestrian crossing facilities shall include a Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB), high-visibility crosswalk, ADA complaint landing pads, and if necessary protective curbing. Proposal shall include and account for: Information gathering meetings with City Traffic Maintenance Staff to determine design needs and desired city equipment specification requirements and special notes or information requirements. All information gathering meetings shall be arranged by the Consultant. Owner Rights: The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bid documents per New York State Finance Law 163(9)(d). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, and to waive any minor technicalities. A contract will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid meeting the requirements of this specification. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
