The City of Redwood City (City) Public Works Services (PWS) Department is soliciting bids from vendors that provide materials required to backfill utility trenches. Materials will be purchased on an as-needed basis at the request of the City. All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the bid Contract Award July/August 2024 Notice to Proceed July/August 2024 Deadline for questions / clarifications Friday, May 3, 2024, 3 PM PT Answers to questions released By Friday, May 10, 2024 The term shall be for a one (1) year period from the effective date of the contract. The contract may be renewed for up to two (2) consecutive, two (2) year increments after the initial contract period, at the discretion and approval of the City. The City shall notify the Vendor in writing of the intent to extend the contract. This NIB does not commit the City to enter into a contract, nor does it obligate the City to pay for any costs incurred in preparation and submission of bids or in anticipation of a contract. The City reserves the right.
