Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Alfred, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage; for site work for a water / sewer project; parking garage; and water / sewer project.
There will be two (2) Contracts as follows: Contract 3A: General Construction consists of the making improvements to two (2) existing well houses and three (3) existing pump station buildings including selective demolition and the installation of new process piping, water mains, valves, miscellaneous site work, and appurtenances. Contract 3B: Electrical Construction consists of making electrical improvements to two (2) well houses, three (3) existing pump stations, one (1) water tank, and the Department of Public Works garage including new generators and other electrical related work. This contract will also include the installation of a new telemetry system. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do businessin New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. The Village of Alfred reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
