Site work for a water / sewer project in Alfred, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This contract consists of the replacement of approximately 13,900 LF of 2, 4, 6, and 8-inch water main, valves, hydrants, water services and associated appurtenances along portions of NYS Route 244 and Shaw Road in the Town and Village of Alfred. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFIs will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (Local Time) on August 12, 2024, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Project Engineer, Nick Binnert, via email: NBinnert@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on August 14, 2024, from the office of the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. The Village of Alfred reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
