Renovation of a water / sewer project in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of installation of gas detection sensors (hydrogen sulfide and methane), transmitters, and controllers in various structures at the Downers Grove Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Center (WWTC). Buildings include CHP No. 2 Building (F), Digester No. 3 Control Building (G), Digester No. 4&5 Control Building (K), Digester No. 1&2 Control Building (M), Excess Flow Pumping Station (Q); and other miscellaneous items of work. Direct all questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents to Engineer (Telephone 847.212.2477 or email jruffatti@baxterwoodman.com). Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addendum emailed by the Engineer or the Engineer's designated independent distributor to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) business days prior to the Bid Opening might not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addendum will be binding. Oral and interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
