2024 Sanitary Sewer Televising project. Not Less Than the Prevailing Rate of Wages as Determined by the Department of Labor or Determined by the Court on Review Shall Be Paid to All Laborers, Workmen and Mechanics Performing Work Shall Apply to This Contract. Description of Work. The Proposed Work Consists of Light Cleaning and Televising of Approximately 66,000 Lineal Feet of Sanitary Sewer Ranging in Size From 8-inch to 16-inch Diameter, Approximately 50 Hours of Heavy Cleaning, Restoration and Other Miscellaneous Items of Work. Some Locations May Require Easement Capabilities. Information for Bidders. the Downers Grove Sanitary District is Exempt From the Illinois State, Municipal or County Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as Described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid Prices Shall Not Include the Cost of Such Taxes. Bonds. All Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, Bank Draft, Certified Check or Cashier's Check Payable to the Downers Grove Sanitary District for an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid Provided in the Bidder Instructions. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Performance and Payment Bonds on the Forms Provided in the Specifications, Each in the Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Rejection of Bids. The Downers Grove Sanitary District Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Technicalities. Unless the Bids Are Rejected for Good Cause, Award of Contract Shall Be Made to the Lowest, Responsive, Responsible Bidder.
