2024 Sewer Rehabilitation. Pre-Qualification: Yes Description: The proposed construction consists of the installation of approximately 248 lineal feet of 8-inch cured-in-place sanitary sewer, 1,375 lineal feet of 27-inch cured-in-place sanitary sewer, 1,961 lineal feet of 42-inch cured-in-place sanitary sewer, removal and replacement of sanitary sewer manholes, and other miscellaneous items of work. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. The Downers Grove Sanitary District is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Downers Grove Sanitary District for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. A copy of the Request for Qualification documents may be obtained by contacting Abby McMann at amcmann@baxterwoodman.com. The completed and signed Request for Qualification documents will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis and must be submitted to Abby McMann at amcmann@baxterwoodman.com no later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2024.
