Arrowhead Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation. The Contract awarded under this Invitation to Bid is expected to be funded in whole or in part from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. All ARPA requirements shall be a condition of this Contract.. The Owner encourages participation and bid submission from any Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and/or Minority or Women Business Enterprise (MBE or WBE) capable and otherwise qualified to perform work definedby this construction contract. The Successful Bidder shall comply with 40 U.S. Code Chapter 37 - Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. Bidders are encouraged to advertise solicitation(s) for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and/or Minority or Women Business Enterprisesin local/regional newspapers with wide circulation orsimilar advertising method during the bid period and include a copy of the affidavit(s) of publication or similar documentation with the Bid. The Project consists of approximately 10,294 linear feet of 8" cured-in-place sanitary sewer pipe lining, replacement of 43 sanitary sewer manhole frames and covers, cementitious lining of 10 sanitary sewer manholes, and associated sanitary sewer system rehabilitation work in the Town of Christiansburg, VA. Bids will be received for a singleprime Contract. Bids will be on a unit price basis.
