Site work and renovation of a civil project in Christiansburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of installation of a new wastewater lift station and approximately 600 linear feet of forcemain near the Walters Wastewater Lift Station facility in the Town of Christiansburg. The existing wet well and valve vault will be abandoned in place as part of this project. Additionally, a new doghouse manhole and new 8-inch gravity sewer will be installed. This project also includes electrical improvements and various site improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Documents may also be examined at: Christiansburg Town Hall, 100 E Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073; Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The procedure for withdrawal of bids shall be in accordance with procedure (i) of Section 2.2 - 4330 of the Code of Virginia. Question Deadline 09/04/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than nine (9) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
